1. Do I really get a free app build?
Yes. The free build is a demo version that shows how your app will look and work. It includes example content (like a few products or services) so you can see the layout, navigation, and main features in action. Once you’re happy and decide to go ahead, I’ll add all your products, content, and custom features as part of the paid build.
2. Do my customers need to download it from the App Store or Google Play?
No- your app works in any web browser, on desktop, mobile phone, or tablet. It can even be added to a phone’s home screen for one-tap access.
3. Why don’t you include all my products or content in the free version?
The demo is meant to show the structure and working features, not to load everything right away. Adding large product lists or full content libraries comes later, once we confirm the final build.
4. Can I test how the e-commerce or booking system works in the demo?
Yes, I’ll connect it to a real e-commerce or booking setup so you can see it working, but with a limited number of examples.
5. Are there any other costs during the free build?
The demo build itself is free, but if I need to pay for anything external, such as:
• Logo purchase or design
• Custom domain (URL) registration
• App store submission fees (Apple €99/year, Google €25 one-off)
• Stock images, fonts, or premium design assets
these costs will be payable. I’ll always confirm first before anything is charged.
6. What types of businesses do you work with?
I work mainly with small businesses such as cafés, takeaways, hairdressers, gyms, shops, and clubs but any business can benefit.
7. Do I need my own domain (URL)?
No, but I recommend you have one. If you want a custom web address (like www.yourbusiness.com), I can help you register it and connect it to your app.
8. And if I already have a website?
No problem. Your app can complement your site by driving retention through loyalty programs and push notifications, and I can redirect mobile traffic to the app.
9. How long does it take to build the app?
Most apps are ready to review within 5-7 days, depending on features and content.
10. Do I need to publish the app on the Apple or Google Android stores?
No. Your app can run in a web browser like a normal website, which avoids the extra store listing fees, and the fee to prepare and submit the app for approval.
11. What happens after I approve the demo app?
Once you’re happy, you pay a non-refundable 50% of the build fee and choose your ongoing plan. I will complete and launch the app and the final 50% is payable
After Launch
12. Can I update the app myself?
Yes. If you choose the self-managed option, you’ll have full access to make changes. Even if you choose a Care package you can still make your own changes.
13. What if I need help later?
You can always contact me for updates or advice. I offer hourly support or monthly plans for ongoing help.
14. What ongoing costs should I expect?
A monthly hosting fee and, if you choose, a support plan or occasional hourly work for updates and new features.
If your app is listed on the Apple store there is an annual fee of $99.
Domain name renewal fees also apply at the frequency and amount set by the your domain name registrar.
